Dining tables
Allow 600 mm of table edge per diner, and 900 mm of clear floor between table edge and wall for chairs to pull out — 1,200 mm where people walk behind seated diners.

Table height is 740–760 mm as standard; check apron clearance if anyone at your table uses a chair with arms — you need roughly 660 mm from floor to the underside of the apron.
Beds — the actual NZ/AU dimensions
NZ and AU bed sizes are their own system. A "king" here is not a UK king or a US king, and imported bedding and frames regularly don't match local mattresses. Measure your mattress; don't trust the name.

Note the NZ/AU split on king and super king — a frame made for one market can be 150 mm off in the other. Around the bed, allow 600 mm on each access side and 900 mm at the foot if there's a walkway.
Coffee tables and living
A coffee table works at half to two-thirds the sofa's length, its top within 50 mm of the seat cushion height (usually 400–450 mm), placed 350–450 mm from the sofa — close enough to reach, far enough to walk. Sideboards: 400–450 mm deep is enough for dinnerware; leave 1,000 mm in front for doors and drawers plus a person.
Will it get in? Delivery access
Solid furniture doesn't flat-pack, so check the route before ordering. Measure the narrowest of: front door (NZ standard is 810–860 mm clear), hallway width including skirting, stair width and any landing turn, and lift door if apartment. A piece can enter on the diagonal — as a rule of thumb, if the piece's smallest two dimensions each fit the doorway's width and the route has no tight turn, it will go. When our range launches, every product page will state the piece's packed dimensions and the minimum door width it needs.
Trade-off, stated: a one-piece solid table top is the best construction and the worst thing to carry up a spiral staircase. If your access is tight, tell us before ordering — not after.
